Site Description
Maintained by the Three Rivers Historical Society, the Browntown Museum is a collection of 19th century farm structures located about eight miles east of Lake City on S.C. Highway 341. Centered around the Brown-Burrows House, built in 1845, the site includes a smokehouse, corn crib, cotton gin and out buildings from the early 19th century.
Access and Admission
Antique farm equipment is displayed, and the site represents the typical lifestyle of a small farmer in South Carolina's Pee Dee Region during the post-Civil War era. Access Description: Saturday: 9am-4pm
